Certain items (see below) require special handling in a manner that is different from the usual procurement process. Not all of these items require use of a Purchase Order (PO) to make the purchase. Check the link to the item in which you are interested to determine if requisition or PO creation is part of the process.
Remember, for those transactions that do require a PO, the procurement process always begins with the creation of a requisition or PO in the
Berkeley Financial System (BFS).
