Does your campus department want to purchase goods and/or services from a small, disasdvantaged or minority business?
Whether you are working with a federally funded project team needing to use certain types of small businesses or if you are working in a unit wishing to support small businesses in our East Bay communities, you can search for small business information in two ways:
1. By Company Name:
- Enter name in the designated search field
- Click the Submit button
- Then check out the Results page which will display:
- Vendor ID (if available)
- Products & Services
- Keyword (which you used to find vendor)
- Address, City, State, Zip Code, Phone, Fax, Email
-Vendor Classification code
Following this information will be a description of the organization’s small business classification type.
2. By Product or Service:
- Enter keyword(s) into the appropriate field
- Click the Submit button
- See the results page for a list of vendors by:
- Vendor ID (if the company has done business with the University in the past)
- Company Name, City, State, Email address and
- Government classification (as designated per Environmental Protection Agency [EPA], State of California, or by the Small Business Administration [SBA].)
When you click on the Company Name, the results page will provide more detailed contact information as described in item 1 above.
