Conditions for Using Temporary Agencies

The UC system's rules for contracting limit the UCB managers from hiring staff through outside temporary agencies. This option can be used only as a last resort and only with the approval of the Employment Manager, in the Office of Human Resources.

There are UC Strategic Sourcing suppliers for temporary staffing and for IT temporary staffing that campus departments can utilize through their departmental PO.
