How to Buy Tax Free Alcohol
Property Management does not stock tax free alcohol for next day delivery.
Property Management is now ordering Tax Free Alcohol through VWR. Orders should be submitted referencing the VWR part numbers below.
There is no longer a Property Management recharge for delivery. VWR will deliver directly to the address or receiving department listed on your Interoffice Order Form (IOC).
"Tax-Free" means that the University has an approved Industrial Alcohol Permit from the US Alcohol and Tobacco Trade Bureau (TTB) to purchase alcohol free of the Federal Alcohol Tax. However, a purchase is still subject to California Sales Tax.
Approved alcohol custodians should view the listing of available products and prices below (prices effective September 15, 2012).

How to Order
Complete the Interoffice Order Form (IOC), available online on the Campus Recharge Information Home Page.
1. Click on Forms & Templates under the heading Other Recharge Links.
2. Click on the last line, Interdepartmental Form (Excel) and Instructions (Word) to access the current forms as determined by the Controller’s Office.
3. Make sure the IOC contains the following information:
· Originating department name
· Authorized custodian name and approval signature
· Your department’s delivery address
· Department contact and telephone number
· The alcohol item(s) with VWR catalog number(s), and number of items.
· Departmental chart string
4. Then either fax the IOC to Property Management at (510) 643-7717, or e-mail to rahall [at] berkeley [dot] edu.
